March 2026 Visa Bulletin Update – Employment-Based Categories

The U.S. Department of State has released the March 2026 Visa Bulletin. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has confirmed that the Dates for Filing Chart will be used this month for Adjustment of Status (Form I-485) applications

This update includes important information for EB-1, EB-2 (including NIW), and EB-3 applicants.

EB-1 (Priority Workers)

All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed: Current (C)
China (Mainland Born): December 1, 2023
India: December 1, 2023
Mexico & Philippines: Current (C)

If marked as Current (C), applicants may file regardless of priority date. If a specific date is listed, the
priority date must be earlier than that date to file.

EB-2 (Including National Interest Waiver – NIW)

All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed: Current (C)
China (Mainland Born): January 1, 2022
India: November 1, 2014
Mexico & Philippines: Current (C)
Applicants from countries where EB-2 is current may proceed with filing if all other eligibility
requirements are met. Historically, EB-2 categories may retrogress later in the fiscal year depending on
demand.

EB-3 (Skilled, Professional & Other Workers)

Skilled & Professional Workers:
All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed: January 15, 2024
China: January 1, 2022
India: August 15, 2014
Mexico & Philippines: January 15, 2024
Other Workers (Unskilled):
All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed: June 22, 2022
China: October 1, 2019
India: August 15, 2014
Mexico & Philippines: June 22, 2022
If your priority date is earlier than the listed date, you may now be eligible to proceed with the next
stage of your green card process.
